Passing of Life Member #13 Noel Cahill

Once again, there is sad news as I inform you of the passing of Noel Cahill, Life Member #13. He was 91.

Noel joined the Association in March 1967 and quickly established himself as a very good referee at a time when the Association was in its infancy but fortunate to have a strong group of active referees. After retiring from active duties, Noel found his niche as Director of Referees where he implemented the first off season training program for aspiring referees aiming for higher honours in junior representative fixtures, grade.

Merit Award Committee 1976-80

Patron 1975
