JAYDEN KASTELAN TO DEBUT IN HAROLD MATTHEWS CUP & HIGHER APPOINTMENTS

Exciting news for member Jayden Kastelan this week as he was appointed to his debut Harold Matthews match in Round 6 of the Metropolitan Junior Representative season. He will referee the match between Parramatta Eels & North Sydney Bears at New Era Stadium commencing at 12pm. 

This is a massive achievement for Jayden who has been applying his trade with in the Metropolitan Development squad for the past 4 seasons. Jayden has officiated a number of Tarsha Gale middles a well as many touch lines within the three grades of the competition. Although Jayden’s Junior Rep career has been hampered by the COVID-19 crisis this has not withheld by achieving milestones as the In-Goal Touch Judge of the Tarsha Gale Grand Final in 2019 and in-goal touch judge of the Harold Matthews Grand Final in 2021. 

These achievements accompany Jayden’s strong refereeing performances within the Panthers Juniors where he has established himself as a regular A Grade Division 1 referee. 

When asked how he was going to prepare for his debut match, Jayden replies “a nice relaxing time at home and maybe get a massage so I’m ready to go”.
