VALE – BARRY BEVERIDGE

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Life Member, Barry Beveridge. 

Barry joined the Association in 1974 and over four decades made an outstanding contribution to our Association, particularly in the area of recruitment and coaching of referees. He was awarded Life Membership in 1994, received the Jack Harris Merit Award in 1977 and 2002, along with the NSWRLRA Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011. 

Barry made a significant contribution to the game with his dedication to Mini/Mod football and in 2006, the Association struck the Barry Beveridge Award for the Highest Mod Referee of the Year. 

Barry will be greatly missed by his hundreds of friends in the refereeing fraternity. At this time our thoughts and prayers are with Yvonne and his extended family.
